We are pleased to announce the winners of the 2010 ‘Best Comparative Paper Presented at an APPAM Research Conference’. The decision by the APPAM-ICPA-Forum Joint Adjudication Committee was unanimous:
“Intergenerational Mobility in the United States and Great Britain: A Comparative Study of Parent-Child Pathways”

The paper was first presented in November 2010 at the 32st APPAM Research Conference in Washington, D.C. The Award was presented to the authors at the 33nd APPAM Fall Research Conference in Boston, MA in November 2011. ICPA-Forum held a reception honoring the authors. The paper was one of 23 comparative papers short listed. The JCPA Aims and Scope and its Six Criteria of comparative policy scholarship were used for the selection.
